The main directions of cooperation will be joint development of the educational process, modernisation and diversification of training areas for highly qualified personnel, development of academic mobility and innovative forms of interaction, as well as integration of education and science.

Universities of Uzbekistan and Belarus are dynamically developing cooperation in the field of education: about 60 universities have launched joint educational programmes to train specialists in the areas most in demand in both countries. At the moment, more than 80 joint educational programmes are being implemented, in which students are trained and receive dual diplomas – the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The forum is a symbol of successful cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in the field of education and science. It creates the foundation for long-term partnership relations between two countries. Within the framework of the forum, the rector of Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk Yuri Romanovsky and the rector of Tashkent State University of Economics Tulkin Teshabayev signed an agreement on the implementation of joint educational programmes of bachelor's and master's degrees and a roadmap for further development of cooperation for the 2024/2025 academic year.
