The highlight of the cultural life of the Hostel № 3 of Polotsk State University became the poetry evening organized by the club of esthetic development “Oriflamma” with the support of the hostel students’ council.

CHEL'Z EXREME GAMES BELARUS 2012 is the largest in the CIS youth project that combines active and advanced youth of the CIS and Europe. It was held from March 29 to April 1, 2012, in the Palace of Sports (Minsk).

On March 30-31, 2012, the regional festival “Theatrical Spring” was held in Novopolotsk. Student theatre “ART” team won the Grand Prix for the performance “Maximalist”.

On March 22, 2012, the oldest faculty of Polotsk State University – Civil Engineering – celebrated its 41st Birthday. On this day the Dean of the Faculty Oleg Korobov, the Research Sector Director Alexander Bakatovich, the Department of Mechanics assistant professor, Leonid Turishchev congratulated lecturers and students of the Faculty.

On March 22, 2012, during a working trip to Vitebsk region the Vice-Head of the President Administration Valery Mitskevich visited Polotsk State University where his meeting with students of the Law Faculty was held.

The conference will be held as one of the main scientific events devoted to the birth of Belarusian statehood, its 1150th Anniversary is associated with the chronicles of Polotsk and will be celebrated in 2012.

On March 15, 2012, the Faculty of Geodesy celebrated its Birthday.

On March 13, 2012, a judicial sitting of Vitebsk regionEconomic Court took place at Polotsk State University. The judge Eric Baghdasarov heard the case to establish the fact of real estate belonging. The dispute between two really existing Novopolotsk organizations was at the heart of the trial.

The club of esthetic development “Oriflamma” and the Student activists of Hostel N1 of Polotsk State University organized an evening dedicated to tea ceremonies.
