You can reach us by buses 5 or 10 (bus stop “Molodiozhnaya”) from the railway station in Polotsk.

Polotsk State University is one of the most dynamically developing higher educational establishments in Belarus. Today it is a classical university of the European type, combining the humanities, fundamental and applied sciences with the traditions of high culture and with the aspiration for education, which appeared and developed in Ancient Polotsk a long while ago.

The University trains specialists in economics, finances, law, history, modern European languages. Another component in education at the University – technological – is focused on training of specialists at the traditional engineering faculties, which has considerably improved due to the introduction of new curricula, research development, postgraduate courses, strengthening of links with industry and intensive expansion of international cooperation with higher institutions and enterprises in Russia, Germany, Great Britain, France, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Poland, and some other countries. For many years the University has been training foreign students and postgraduates. The graduates of our University work in more than 30 countries of the world.

We are open to cooperation and will be glad to have new partners in European educational projects to improve the system of training and retraining specialists and to carry on research.
