Biography

S. Mudrov worked as a journalist, lecturer, and employee of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Belarus. He did scientific internships and implemented research projects in Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Romania, Ukraine and Estonia.
He defended his PhD thesis at the University of Salford (UK), as part of the University of Salford/Overseas Research Students Awards Scheme scholarship programme. He studied under scholarship programmes at Maastricht (Netherlands) and Warwick (UK) universities. He also graduated from Minsk Theological Seminary and Belarusian State University.
He speaks English and Spanish.

Publications

He is the author of more than 40 publications, including four books (three in Russian, one in English). There is a monography «Christian Churches in European Integration» (Abingdon & New York: Routledge, 2016) and collection «The Orthodox Church in Europe: from Reykjavik to Tallinn» (Minsk: Медиал, 2018) among the published works. The articles of S.Mudrov were published in leading international publications in the field of religion and politics, including ‘Journal of Church and State’, ‘Journal of Contemporary Religion’, ‘Review of Faith and International Affairs’ и ‘Journal of Religion in Europe’.
