Background information
The Department of Software Engineering was founded in 1990 to teach basic computer sciences in all faculties of the university.
The Department trains students specialized in “Software Support of Information Technologies” and “Computer security (mathematical methods and software systems)”.
There is a possibility to take a master course in “Mathematic modelling, numerical methods and program systems” and a postgraduate course in “Automatization and management of technological processes and manufactures”.
There are 4 IT-rooms equipped with modern computing technology where the students have laboratory and practical classes and carry out course and diploma projects.
Our graduates are qualified as programming engineers.
