On February 27 – March 1, 2013, team of Polotsk state university took place in the DAAD seminar “Open Germany for yourself”. It was held in Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
Students of 2nd Academic Year of the Faculty of History and Philology: Yulia Novitskaya, Violetta Demeschenko, Maria Tarasova, Elena Sharan, Christina Kolesova led by a lecturer of the Department of World Literature and Culture Studies (German section), DAAD lecturer Lars Endraytsik took part in the seminar at the same time with 7 teams from Belarusian universities.
As part of the seminar a meeting with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Belarus Wolfram Maas, as well as representatives of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Robert Bosch Foundation was held. By the sum of points in contests and competitions in regional geography PSU students took the team 4th place.
