On April 4, 2013, a meeting of PSU “Leader School” with the City Parliament of Children and Studying Youth was held. It began with an excursion to training and laboratory building № 3, called a “new building”. Vitaly Golyak, the Head of a Customer Service and a listener of “Leader School”, acted as a guide.
After a fascinating tour children met with members of “Leader School” and it Head Tatyana Shurpitskaya in the classroom to further work.
A lesson began with an introduction. It was organized in the form of game (training warm-up exercises). Tatyana introduced to each other members of the Children Parliament and “Leader School” and, of course, the leaders of these projects: Alesya Sadovskaya and Olga Pavlova.
Olga Bobaryko spoke about the School activities, projects and features of studying in it. Then Ekaterina Valushko, the Head of Student curatorial service, invited pupils to become students for one day taking part in a new project called “One Day of student’s life”. A meeting was finished by Sergey Tuskenus who together with pupils held SWOT-analysis of Novopolotsk.
Presentation, training games, exercises and discussion were conducted by students themselves. Pupils were able to see a sample of independent work “Leader School” students as an example of leadership. Friendly atmosphere prevailed in the audience, and it was proof of how important and interesting these “dialogues” with school students.
