Biography

1998 – Graduated from Polotsk State University. Internship at Dornier GmbH in Germany.

2003 – The defence of the candidate dissertation.

2003 – March 2015 – The Head of the Department of Accounting and Audit.

2013 – The defence of the doctoral dissertation.

Since March 2015 – First pro-rector of Polotsk State University.

• Problems of accounting development, economic analysis and control in the context of sustainable development concept.
• Methodology of natural capital account.
• Corporate social accountability.

Achievements

• Svetlana Vegera is a scholar of the Special Presidential Fund of the Republic of Belarus for young researches (2011); a laureate of Vitebsk Region Executive Committee of talented, young researches and specialists (2009).
• The author of more than 100 scientific publications including 5 monographs, 3 educational and methodological supplies. The co-author of the tutorial «The theory of accounting».
• The organizer of international research conferences (2011-2015), international seminars and open lectures for students and teachers (2012-2015).
• Participation in regional, republican and international conferences (Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Czech Republic).
• S. Vegera is a member of the editorial staff of theoretical journal «Vestnik of PSU», scientifically industrial journal «Independent auditor».
• The head of the scientific school in the field of accounting and analytical ensuring of stable development of economic players.
