High-performance technology of processing gear details

The suggested methods of primary forming and cutting instruments can be applied at mechanical and instrument engineering plants for high-performance processing of details with discontinuous end surfaces like clutch couplings, jaw clutches, ABS sensor toothed-wheels, etc.
The technology is designed based on the combination of primary forming, separation, and processing of the slots by rotary broaching. Due to this, depending on the settings of the machine and the tool used, it is possible to process a wide range of products with high productivity and accuracy.

Competitive advantages:

  • increase in primary forming accuracy due to discontinuous process of separation
  • increase in processing efficiency by 2-3 times

Novelty and competitive advantages:

  • high accuracy of video data analysis and recognition
  • automatic adaptation for different video surveillance conditions
  • effective use of modern processing methods, including author's developments
  • reduction of video data processing time due to support for parallel GPU computing

The equipment package for the realization:

  • universal gear spline milling machine or a special machine tool, e.g. WERA profilator (Germany)
  • equipment
  • special cutting tool

Application

The proposed technology is implemented on the super-universal gear spline milling machine BC-50 and special machine tools BC-9601 and BC 30P-9253 produced at the Vitebsk machine tool plant «VISTAN» (Belarus).

The design documentation is developed for the cutting tools of the machines. Machines and tools production is set.

The developed technology is implemented at the Minsk Automobile Plant (Republic of Belarus) and Kanash Automotive Components Plant (Russian Federation).

Suggestions:

  • design of the technology, instruments, and equipment relating to the conditions of the customer
  • production of tools and equipment for the implementation of the technology of processing specific pieces
  • modernization of machine tools for the implementation of the proposed processing technologies in relation to specific conditions
