Sulfur concrete – new construction material based on sulfur binder

Application

  • paving slabs and flags of all shapes, sizes, and colours
  • curbs
  • drainage gutters
  • well rings, covers
  • reinforced piles, posts for transmission lines
  • containers for temporary and long-term waste storing

Advantages

  • High compressive strength (more than 60MPa)
  • Low abradability (3-4% or less)
  • High acid resistance
  • Water repellence and high frost resistance (F300 and more)
  • Short design strength setting time (less than 1 day)
  • Ability to receive products of different colours
  • High surface quality level

Environmental effect

  • sulfur concrete helps to solve the problem of utilization of elemental sulfur as a waste of in-depth petroleum refining (product with increased value-added)
  • under the specified temperature conditions, mixing and moulding procedures are environmentally friendly and don't cause any harmful emissions
  • complete products recycling is allowed
  • sulfur concrete is non-toxic in-service (under the specified temperature conditions)

Main components

  • modified sulfur binder
  • inert ballast

Tender

  • Development of sulfur concrete production technology related to the Customers conditions
  • Scientific and industrial cooperation
