Technology and equipment for producing elastic tools with oriented abrasive granules

The developed equipment constructively implements the technology of forming single-lay surfaces of the body of the elastic grinding tool by mass transferring abrasive particles oriented in electrostatic generator with their further implantation into cloth, which was previously finished and coated with adhesive composition. The equipment ensures the orientation of abrasive particles in the manufacture of grinding tools, which are subsequently used for grinding by the scheme of blade cutting. That benefits the quality of processing and increases efficiency, especially during rough operations.

Application

Based on JSC Polotsk plant "PROMMASHREMONT" was set a pilot production of elastic grinding tools for self-use in finishing journals of recovered crankshafts. This allowed abandoning abrasive tools import.
