Teaching activities
She graduated from Polotsk State University with honors and was assigned to the Department of Economics and Management. In 2016, she successfully defended her dissertation ‘Implementation of Personnel Activities in Organizations of the Republic of Belarus Based on Personnel Risk Assessment and Management’. The dissertation was submitted for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences in specialty ‘Economics and Management of the National Economy (specialization: Labor economics)’, at the Council for the defense of dissertations D 02.07.02 at the Belarusian State Economic University.
She pays great attention to the scientific work of students. Students whose work is carried out under the supervision of Ekaterina Galeshova are always marked by categories in republican competitions for the best scientific work.

Management and administrative activities
From 2016 to 2018, she was the Chairperson of the Young Researchers’ Council of Polotsk State University. She organized seminars, festivals and international competitions for young researchers.
From 2019 to 2020, Ekaterina was Vice-dean of the Faculty of Finance and Economics.
From 2020 to 2023, she worked as the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Electronics of the educational institution Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk.
From September 1, 2023 she is the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs.
Social esteem and awards
- In 2017, she won the special award of the Polotsk State University ‘Krynica Veday’ in the nomination Young Scientist of the Year.
- In 2018, she became a laureate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Award for talented young scientists and specialists.
- She was awarded the Diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Certificate of Honor of the Novopolotsk City Council of Deputies, the Certificate of Honor of the Polotsk State University, the badge of the Polotsk State University ‘For contribution to patriotic education of youth’, the badge of the Polotsk State University.
