Teaching activities

In 1978, Valery Lukhverchik graduated from Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank (Faculty of Music and Pedagogy).
Lukhverchik took a postgraduate course at Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank and then, in 1998, he defended his PhD thesis in Pedagogic Sciences.
In 1978-1990, he worked as a teacher at Polotsk Pedagogical College.
In 1994-1996, Valery Lukhverchik was the Deputy Director at Polotsk State Gymnasium.
Since 2001, he had been the Dean of the Faculty of Labour Training and Physical Education.
Since 2007, Valery Lukhverchik has been the Dean of the Faculty of Sports and Pedagogy.
He is a member of Republican Educational and Methodical Association in the sphere of physical and pedagogical education.
Valery Lukhverchik has trained 6 Masters in Pedagogic Sciences. There are 6 scientific works which were awarded categories at the Student Research Paper Competition. The scientific research work of N. Kayukalo was awarded a special prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus in 1999.
Currently teaches the following disciplines:

  • Foundations of Pedagogy and Psychology of Higher Education.
