Teaching activities

In 1980 he graduated from Novopolotsk Polytechnic Institute and began working at the Department of Gas Supply and Hydraulics as an engineer in the research brunch. In December 1982, he was hired as an assistant at the Department of Sanitary Engineering and Labor Protection of Novopolotsk Polytechnic Institute (now the Department of Heat, Water and Gas Supply, and Ventilation at Polotsk State University). From 1986, he was promoted to the position of senior lecturer at the department.
In March 1990, he was elected as a deputy of the Novopolotsk City Council, and at the first organizational session of the Council, he became the deputy chairman of the City Council. From September 1991, he served as the chairman of the Novopolotsk City Council and the chairman of the executive committee of the City Council. In 1995, Niyakovsky A. was re-elected as a deputy and the chairman of the Novopolotsk City Council, serving in this position until October 2000. From 2001 to 2011, Niyakovsky A. worked as the deputy director, director of Auto-Transport Enterprise (ATE) ‘Beltransavto’, and director of Republican Unitary Enterprise (RUE) ‘Novopolotsk Protein-Vitamin Concentrates plant’ (PVC).
In 1994, he completed internships in the USA and Germany. In 2000, he graduated from the Institute for Advanced Management Personnel of the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus with a degree in ‘Economics and Enterprise Management’, qualifying as an economist-manager.
In December 2020, Niyakovsky A. was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences (industrial heat power engineering). In September 2022, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor (Construction).

Social esteem

Awarded the medal ‘For Merits in the Development of the Vitebsk Region’, Honorary Diplomas of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Novopolotsk City Council of Deputies, a diploma from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, a badge from the Educational Institution Polotsk State University, a commemorative badge from Polotsk State University ‘For Contribution to Patriotic Education of Youth’. Acknowledged with gratitude by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies.
