Teaching activities

His professional activity is associated with Polotsk State University, where he graduated in 2007 with a degree in history. At Polotsk State University, he earned the title of Master of Historical Sciences in 2008 after completing his master's degree.
Currently teaches the following disciplines:

  • History of Arts

Scientific interests

In 2013, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on "The Evolution of Funeral and Memorial Rites of the Belarusians of the Belarusian Podvinje in the 20th – Early 21st Century" in the field of ethnography, ethnology, and anthropology.
He researches the folk architecture of the Belarusian Podvinje, the history and culture of Belarus' ethnic groups, and the funeral and memorial customs of Belarusians from the 19th to the 21st centuries.
Uladzimir Auseichyk participated in the development of a number of scientific projects, including:
  • "The Traditional Ethnocultural and Linguistic Landscape of the Vitebsk-Pskov Borderland at the End of the 19th - Beginning of the 21st Century: Levels of Representation and Dynamics of Cross-Cultural Connections" (2016-2018; according to the agreement with the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research, No. G16RP-004 dated April 29, 2016).
  • "Folklore Interpretation and Understanding of History in the Traditional Culture of Belarusians in the Dvina Region from the Late 19th to the Early 21st Century" as part of Task 1.2.06 "Folklore Heritage of Belarusians in the Modern Slavic World: Parallels, Genesis, Local Features" (2016-2020; State Registration No. 20160589 dated April 1, 2016).
  • "The Semantics of the Traditional Cultural Landscape of the Belarusian Dvina Region: Evolution and Transformation in the 20th - Early 21st Century" (2018-2020; according to the agreement with the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research, No. G18-078 dated May 30, 2018).
