Teaching activities

In 1984 I. Sapego graduated from Saint-Petersburg State Agrarian University having specialized in “Business Accounting and Agriculture Activity Analysis”. In 1994 she graduated from Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University, Faculty of Pedagogics, having specialized in “Specialized Subjects Teacher”.
Since 1995 till 2023 she worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Business Accounting and Finance, Logistics and Management..
In 2002 she successfully defended her PhD thesis on “Accounting and Audit of Non-current Assets at Industrial Enterprise in the Republic of Belarus: Situation, Development Prospects”. In 2012 I. Sapego was awarded an academic degree of PhD in Economics. In 2004 she was awarded an academic rank of Associate Professor.
Professionally possesses knowledge of pedagogy and psychology, methods of professional training, introduces interactive and innovative methods of conducting classes (business games, auction classes, the game "conquistador", "your game", etc.), widely uses multimedia technologies with presentation elements, UKSR, and a rating system for monitoring students' knowledge in the educational process.
Leading teacher of the department in the field of accounting in industrial organizations, is a member of the editorial board of the Scientific and Technical Journal "Vestnik of Polotsk State University" series D, responsible for educational and methodological work at the department. You will receive advice on any issue in the field of accounting from her.

  • From 1979 till 1980 she worked as a deputy head accountant of Polotsk region collective farm named by Meleshko.
  • From 1980 till February 1983 she worked as an auditor at the Agriculture Control and Revision Office guided by Polotsk Region Executive Committee.
  • From February 1983 till July 1986 worked as a head of financial services sector of Polotsk Komsomol Regional Committee.
  • From July 1986 till January 1995 worked as a lecturer at Polotsk State Economic College.
