Teaching activities

In 2006-2008, he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of Polotsk State University. In 2008-2012, was a lecturer (since 2011, an associate professor). In 2013-2014, he was the Head of the Department of National and World History at PSU. Since 2014, he has been an associate professor of the Department of History and Tourism. Now he heads the Department of Social Communications.

He explores the culture of the privileged class of Belarus, the role of elites in ethnocultural processes.
He is a member of the scientific school for the archaeological and ethnographic study of the Belarusian Podvinye.
He was a member of the scientific and methodological commission of the Faculty of History and Philology (in 2011-2013 he was its chairman), the organizing committee of the International Scientific Conference ‘Belarusian Podvinye: Experience, Methodology and Results of Field and Interdisciplinary Research’ of the PSU (2011-2014). Member of the jury of the Local History readings ‘The Heritage of the Polotsk land’ (2012-2013).

He is the author of more than 50 scientific and educational publications. Author of the monograph ‘Culture of Privileged Class Belarus: 1795-1864’ (2011).

The author of the book of essays ‘Museum’ (2016). Diploma winner of the play contest ‘Francysk Skaryna and Modernity’ (co-authored with I. Andreeva, 2016).
