On July 9, Tashkent hosted the graduation ceremony for bachelor’s and master’s degree students completing the joint programme of Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk and Tashkent State University of Economics.
The solemn diploma ceremony for graduates of the joint educational programme
The diploma presentation ceremony was attended by faculty members, parents, and university administration, with the awarding of degrees conducted by the rectors: Yury Ramanouski and To'lqin Teshabayev.
This year marked the third graduation of bachelor's students, with 56 specialists receiving their degrees, as well as the first graduation of master's students, comprising 19 graduates. The joint educational programme is implemented under the supervision of Alena Malei, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Business Accounting and Finance, Logistics and Management
The Polotsk University delegation's visit to Tashkent included a round table discussion on “Joint Educational Programmes Between Belarus and Uzbekistan: Achievements and Future Prospects”. Key topics included the implementation of distance learning in joint programmes and the development of new collaborative academic disciplines.
Discussion on updating approaches and formats for collaboration
Negotiations were held with the administration of Tashkent State University of Economics regarding the updating of areas and forms of interaction. During the meeting, the results of the current academic year were summarized, and a plan and conditions for enrolling students in joint bachelor's and master's educational programs for the 2025/2026 academic year were agreed upon. The discussion also covered the terms for student enrollment in the joint master’s programme between of Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk and Tashkent State University of Economics, particularly for students who successfully complete their first year at Polotsk State University in 2025-2026.
A key focus of the discussion was organizing faculty exchanges to maintain high-quality education within the joint programmes, along with internships and mutual visits for participation in academic events.
