Egor Lazovsky shared his impression of the visit to our Portuguese partner university: “I gave three lectures on designing the reconstruction of buildings and structures and conducted a master class. The curriculum is different. Building constructions, materials and technologies are used in a different way in different regions. That is why the master’s students were very interested in our classes conducted in the form of a constructive dialogue. Besides, the master’s students got acquainted with Polotsk State University as well as the historical development of education on Polotsk land. The communication was fully in English.

During the visit, E. Lazovsky had a great opportunity to meet with the administration and lecturers of the School of Technology and Management at Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, curators of the double degree master’s program in Construction, heads of partner organizations. During the meeting, the following issues were discussed: possible ways of further cooperation among faculties and universities, ways of improving the quality of students’ theses, studying under the joint double degree program, topics for master’s theses, curriculum review and content enhancement. We have planned a number of further joint events in the scientific and academic fields.

The program was very busy”.
