On January 29, 2018 the educational seminar Country studies of Switzerland was held at Goethe Institute (Minsk). The seminar was carried out by Raphaella Pepe, a lecturer from Switzerland.
Inna Logvinova, a senior lecturer at the Department of World Literature and Foreign Languages of Polotsk State University, who also took part in the training session, shared her impressions:
– German language teachers from different universities and schools in Belarus participated in the seminar. We’ve got acquainted with culture, history, economy of Switzerland, political system and educational system of this country. We’ve got to know the difference between Swiss variant of the German language and German language in Germany.
We’ve got to know the recipes of some Swiss national dishes. The Swiss like potatoes and spaghetti. We’ve tasted famous Swiss chocolate!
