In November Radio Engineering Faculty of Polotsk State University celebrated its 25th anniversary. For a quarter century, a lot of changes took place: new departments formed, new specialties were opened, two of which were completely separated in a new faculty – Faculty of Information Technologies.
During this time, the Faculty has trained more than 2 thousand specialists, 12 graduates received the title of candidates of sciences. RTF graduates work in companies in Germany, Ireland, Canada, France, Sweden and other countries.
During November traditional Olympiads in mathematics and physics for 1st and 2nd academic year students took place. It should be noted that the number of students who want to test their knowledge from year to year is not reduced.
On November 24-27, 2014, an exhibition of vintage radio was held. Visitors could see the Soviet predecessors of modern gadgets.
On November 26, 2014, big holiday concert took place.
