On March 15, 2012, the Faculty of Geodesy celebrated its Birthday.
There were two main program events – friendly competitions in volleyball between lecturers and students and a big holiday concert.
The Dean of the Faculty, Igor Shevelev, in his opening speech congratulated lecturers and students on the Faculty’s Birthday.
The First year students were awarded the title “Students of the Faculty of Geodesy”after the initiation ceremony.
Talented students of the Faculty and guests from other ones took part in the holiday concert: Maxim and Dmitry Matskevich, Nicolay Kamenkov, Tatiana Konopleva, Elena Marat, Oleg Zaitsev, Andrey Anisimov, Levon Gziryan, Maxim Evsukov.
The final song traditionally gathered all the participants of the concert on the scene.
