On June 16, an exhibition showcasing scientific developments by young researchers was held in Minsk. The event was organized as part of the 10th Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states.

The event was attended by over 30 delegates, including ministers of education, their deputies, and rectors of leading universities across SCO nations. Suhail Khan, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, also participated in the proceedings.
Prior to the formal sessions, delegates toured an exhibition of scientific projects developed by young Belarusian researchers. One of the highlights was the stand representing Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk. Pavel Grishin, a senior lecturer at the Department of Technology and Equipment for Oil and Gas Processing, showcased an innovative organic polishing oil for silicon wafers.
This development is designed for the production of a diamond-based polishing slurry, which is essential for the double-sided polishing of silicon wafers. The product matches the performance of international alternatives, and its manufacturing technology is protected by a Eurasian patent. Currently, a pilot batch of this oil is being used at JSC "Integral" in Minsk.
