On September 5, 2017 Law Faculty of Polotsk State University hosted the delegation from our sister city Friedrichshafen (Germany) including representatives of a non-government organization «Freundeskreis Polozk».
The third-year students studying at Law Faculty carried out the interactive excursion in German for our guests. Within the excursion participants of the delegation got acquainted with Faculty facilities, visited a courtroom, a library, a room of criminalistics, got to know about modern opportunities for Law education.
German guests had a chance to have a look at criminologist’s work. The third-year students Polina Kovalchuk and Vladislav Lisov demonstrated the process of finger printing and told about possibilities of a lie detector.
The major event of the visit was a meeting with academic staff of Law Faculty where the work of Regional educational, scientific and practical Juridical Centre, Street Law directions, also consultative directions of Student Legal service were demonstrated.
Both sides also discussed possibilities and directions of the perspective cooperation within law clinic and clinical education at PSU, new partnership forms aimed at the access improvement to juridical help and education for different citizens groups in Polotsk region.
