On April 21, 2017 students of Humanities Faculty of PSU took part in the annual conference in the Swedish language that was held on the base of the International Research Centre in Minsk. The participants presented their reports in two sections: «Svenska» (presentations in Swedish and Norwegian) and «Other languages» (in Belarusian and Russian). The reports were connected with aspects of etymology, culturology, history and urbanist of Scandinavian countries.
The jury of the conference was headed by Magnus S?tterberg, Second secretary of the Embassy of Sweden in Minsk, and also a teacher of the Swedish language at MSLU and International Research Centre Bj?rn Fleischmann.
Polotsk State University was represented by the senior teacher of World Literature and Foreign Languages Department Jauhien Papakul and four students of Humanities Faculty: Elizaveta Gapchukova, Margarita Lashch, Victoria Khodikova and Daria Yadrishchenskaya. The jury marked the high level of student preparation from Polotsk.
According to the conference results the report presented by Margarita Lashch who was awarded with the 3rd place among presentations in Swedish.
