On November 17, youth’s favorite holiday – Students’ Day – celebrates in many countries around the world. Student years are a precious time. They’re full of hopes, plans, and dreams to the future. On this day a series of celebrations was held.
On November 17, 2014, interesting actions took place during big breaks. At the first big break in the main building there was held rewarding of participants and winners of the contest for the best selfie in the University. The winners were chosen by audience voting. The first place went to Anna Genova’s selfie (gr. “11-ФС”).
In the meantime in the new building traditional photo exhibition and an exhibition of hand-made took place. Novopolotsk State Musical College brass band created special solemnity of the event.
At the second big break advertising campaign from Polotsk branch of confectionery plant “Vitba”, organized by Students’ Trade Union, was held.
In the evening at Polotsk Collegium there was held a gala concert. And in the new building a disco took place.
On November 18, 2014, in the courtyard of Polotsk collegiums there was held opening of a memorial plaque in honor of Professor Gabriel Gruber, who left a significant mark in the history of science, art and education in Polotsk land.
