On December 23, 2014, participants of folklore group “Vargan” celebrated Koliada in Polotsk Collegium. Key figures of theatrical performance were a grandfather, a goat, and a bear. In the center of the event there were students of History and Philology Faculty and Faculty of Information Technology of Polotsk State University.
The senior lecturer of World Literature and Culture Studies Department Natalia Apanasovich and the Head of Software Engineering Department Oksana Golubeva met and gifts representatives of event. After caroling a small workshop for Belarusian folk dances took place. Anyone who wants to learn to dance, folklore group “Vargan” is waiting every Saturday at the disco hall in Polotsk Collegium.
