On October 2, 2013, a new season of musical project “Lunch-concert” started. Half-hour classical music concerts will again be held every Wednesday at 11.45 in the lobby of the new building of Polotsk State University!
A musicologist, lecturer of Novopolotsk State College of Music, one of the project leaders Elena Vasilyeva said: “We are very pleased that this is the fourth season of our joint project – a project of Polotsk State University and Novopolotsk State Musical College. For three seasons we won audience’s confidence, we had frequenters. The project “Lunch-concert” justifies itself in its essence, in its idea – it’s vacation, and spiritual enrichment. We propose you 30 minutes of live music weekly. We will stick to one’s colours.
In the fourth season we decided to make some improvements to the Project. First, some of Lunch-concerts will be themed. Second, we add a little musicological comments to better perceive classical music offered by us. And thirdly, many of our programs will be accompanied by visuals. I think both students and lecturers will appreciate our innovations”.
