On April 12, 2013, in the concert hall of Polotsk Collegium there was held a solo concert for electric cello and didgeridoo played by a German musician Martin Sommer.
The didgeridoo is a musical wind instrument of Australian Aborigines. Spectators saw it for the first time, so it attracted great interest.
Especially for Belarusian public Mr. Sommer prepared a little surprise – he performed the folk song “Kupalinka” in the author’s original adaptation.
