Before the International Women’s Day at the assembly hall of PSU there took place the show ‘Miss PSU-2011’.
The competitions were combined in a very peculiar manner. The first trial – ‘Fashion parade’ presupposed not simply the demonstration of grace and good bearing, but also the creation of a particular image that would reflect this or that Faculty’s features.
The next was ‘Intellectual competition’ during which the ladies were to show their wit and intelligence.
The last was the artistic competition. There were songs, a real fire-show, and even a part of a real theatrical performance.
The nominations were the following:
- ‘Miss Charisma’ Tatsiana Konoplyova (Faculty of Geodesy);
- ‘Miss Creativity’ – Irina Ilchuk (Radio Engineering Faculty);
- ‘Miss Originality’ – Ekatserina Baranova (Faculty of Civil Engineering);
- ‘Miss Individuality’ – Tatsiana Anashko (IT Faculty);
- ‘Miss Artistry’ – Anastasiya Semyonova (Faculty of Engineering Technology);
- ‘Miss Gracefulness’ – Anastasiya Suvorova (Faculty of Law).
- Second Vice-miss – Elizaveta Selmanovich (Faculty of Physical Training Education).
- First Vice-miss – Rimma Grishman (Faculty of Finance and Economics).
Miss PSU – Angelica Kotiash (Faculty of History and Philology).
