On February 2-5, 2017 the teachers of the Department of Technology and Methods of Teaching of Polotsk State University Tatiana N. Rusak, Olga V. Pilimon and Svetlana V. Andriyevskaya took part in the educational programme «Modern educational and information technologies in educational process of organizations of preschool and additional education of the Baltic States» with visit of the international exhibition of education and career «Studies 2017» (Vilnius, Lithuania).

The programme covered visiting educational and cultural establishments in three cities: Vilnius (Lithuania), Riga (Latvia) and Stockholm (Sweden).

Methods of career counseling

In Vilnius participants from our university visited the international exhibition of education and career «Studies 2017» that was represented by educational establishments (universities, colleges) from Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia), Central Europe (France, Germany, United Kingdom and others) and Belarus. All the guests had an opportunity to get acquainted with different methods of career counseling system of foreign educational establishments with entrants.

In Vilnius Tatsiana N. Rusak, Olga V. Pilimon and Svetlana V. Andriyevskaya visited a kindergarten which is included in the association «Slavyansky venok» (Slavonic Chaplet). The head of the establishment told about the principles of preschool education organization in Lithuania.

Within the programme all the participants also visited the Faculty of Education of Latvian University (Riga, Latvia). The colleagues from the university told about the system of pedagogical staff preparation in the Latvian Republic, about the history of the development of preschool education in Latvia.

In Stockholm the guests visited Toy Museum where they got acquainted with the history of the development and modern state of toys production, tendencies which have been implemented in the production of toys.
