On October 18, 2017 at the conference-hall of PSU the online-meeting was held between the administrative staff of Polotsk State University and leading representatives of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Astana, Kazakhstan), dedicated to the international cooperation of two universities.
The moderates of the event were the following: Vice-rector for Research work at ENU Gulnara T. Merzadinova (Doctor in Engineering, Professor) and Vice-rector for Research at PSU Dmitry O. Glukhov (PhD in Engineering, Associate professor) who officially opened the online-meeting with their welcoming speech.

Both sides also discussed main aims and objectives for developing their international cooperation, some issues concerning research interaction, technology commercialization, academic mobility, double diploma programmes, priority ways and directions for cooperation. As a result each faculty will cooperate in the field of student and academic staff exchange, joint publications, projects and researches.
Eurasian National University is an official coordinator of Belarus-Kazakh Centre for Scientific and Technical Cooperation and a part of the International Higher Education Academy of Sciences. At the meeting the main focus was made on research cooperation and presentation of already existing projects and developments.
The International Office at PSU and Kazakh-Belarus Centre for Scientific and Technical Cooperation at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University have already begun the preparation of Cooperation Agreements between two universities.
