On April. 3-5, the doctor of economics, professor of the faculty of International Relations of St. Petersburg State University, the director of election monitoring of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Stanislav Tkachenko gave a series of lectures for students of the speciality «Economics and Business Administration».
The main topics of the lecture:
- the problems of modern stable economic development in conditions of globalization (the main reasons and factors of world systemic economic and currency crisis were regarded; it was also said that the further stable development depends on the right approach in defining the strategy of accepting decisions by major economic players);
- sanctions against Russia (the parameters, their periodization and main reasons, motivation and its influence on the real sector of economics in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan are given).
- Functioning of Russian stock market in conditions of economic sanctions.
During the meeting with the staff of the department of Economics, Management and Economic theory the collaboration of universities of Baltic region countries and their influence on the system of international diploma recognition of those countries was discussed.
Finding the ways of further collaboration of the departments of Polotsk State University with the departments of St. Petersburg State University and National University (China) was the result of the meeting.
