Polotsk is a reliable partner for sister city Friedrichshafen (Germany) for 25 years. The active cooperation is carried out in the fields of education, public health, culture, sport and city development. According to the tradition the German delegation visited Polotsk State University within the scope of festive events.
The first pro-rector of PSU Svetlana Vegera greeted all the guests in their native language and pointed out that close link of two cities will be successfully continued. The wise «old man» also confirmed pro-rector’s words during the conversation with a burgomaster of Friedrichshafen administration.
Within the bounds of the excursion in the German language the members of delegation got to know the history of the buildings of PSU and their modern possibilities.
At the end of the event the guests expressed their admiration and gratitude and also wrote an entry to the distinguished guests’ book.
No doubt, the guests from Friedrichshafen will visit Polotsk State University once again because this meeting has left only good impressions.
