On May 20-25 2019, Professor of the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer (Germany) Yukho Myakio visited the Faculty of Information Technologies at Polotsk State University.
During the visit, Yukho Myakio gave lectures on Business Informatics to the students concentrating on “Computer, Systems, and Networks” and “Software Support of Information Technologies”.
For the graduate students concentrating on “Informatics and Programming Technologies” at the Department of Computing Systems and Network, Yukho Myakio delivered lectures on another topic: “E-commerce Systems Development”. Such systems differ from ordinary online stores in more complicated business processes and are now becoming popular.
In addition, Yukho Myakio gave a presentation about the city and university he had come from. Besides, the professor presented a report about the assessment criteria and methods for receiving feedbacks from students to improve the educational services quality. Moreover, as part of a programme of the professor’s visit, he provided lectures on “Didactics” to the lecturers of PSU and Erasmus+ partner universities.
All Yukho Myakio’s lectures were filled with infinite energy and artistry. It was a visit to remember. We strongly hope that lots of such meetings lie ahead.
