The Feodosy Krasovsky Award was established on April 6, 1981. Feodosy Krasovsky (1878–1948) was a Soviet scientist, astronomer and geodesist, a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences, an honoured worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR, a laureate of the USSR State Prize, Doctor of Engineering and Professor. The award is given to individuals in the fields of geodesy and cartography for important inventions, scientific research, scientific and technical developments and other prominent achievements which are of great importance and used in the national economy.
The Feodosy Krasovsky Award
The organizations nominated for the Krasovsky Award are presented only by the main leading individuals for the best scientific and technical developments in geodesy and cartography. If a project is carried out by one organization, a number of applicants should not exceed five people. If a project is carried out by more than one organization, a number of applicants should not exceed ten people.
Laureates of the Krasovsky Award
Recently, the Topographic and Geodetic Republican Unitary Enterprise “Belgeodesy” and State Committee on Property of the Republic of Belarus have been awarded by the Krasovsky Award for their joint project “Development, creation and implementation of the satellite precision positioning system of the Republic of Belarus”. Among the recipients were three PSU graduates specializing in Geodesy.

- A. Litreyev, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Property of the Republic of Belarus;
- V. Vezhnovets, Head of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography at “Belgeodesy”;
- V. Krasutsky, Head of the Department of the High Precision Positioning Systems of Enterprise “Belgeodesy”, graduated from NPI-PSU in 1991;
- N. Rudnitskaya, Head of the Department for the Formation and Maintenance of a Geodetic Database of “Belgeodesy” Enterprise, PhD in Engineering;
- V. Shevchenko - Director of “Belaerokosmogeodesy” Enterprise (2005-2012), graduated from NPI-PSU in 1988, posthumous.
