On November 28, 2017 the awarding ceremony for the winners of the video contest Study In Belarus took place in Minsk. The competition has been held from September 15 to November 30.
The international students from twelve universities of the Republic of Belarus took part in the contest. According to the contest rules a participant has to tell about his university in the native language and shared the impressions about the country, the university, faculty and friends. Polotsk State University was represented by two students:
- Zhang Yinling (our Master student, China) presented her video story «In the very heart of Belarus»;
- Yann Kombo (a student at the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology, Congo) with a video story «Welcome to hospitable Belarus»
According to the jury results, the joint project developed by our talented cameraman Anton Burlako (a third-year student at the faculty of Radio Engineering) and Yann Kombo – the main character of the video story – took the 2nd place.
