Great festival of first academic year students creativity “Debut-2014” ended, leaving pleasant impressions and sweet memories. It is time to sum up the results.
Freshmen competed in several competitions. 16 works from the first academic year students from all faculties except the Civil Engineering one were submitted on the literary essay contest. The authors had to write an essay on one of three topics of their choice.
Results:
- 1st place – Yulia Tikhonova, Faculty of Engineering Technology;
- 2nd place – Maria Tsareva, Faculty of Finance and Economics;
- 3rd place – Svetlana Adeeva, Faculty of History and Philology;
- 3rd place – Maksim Kashko, Radio Engineering Faculty.
On October 20, the intellectual games tournament was held. 19 teams participated in it, 6 of them – adults (1), students (1) and schoolboys (4) – took part out of competition.
- 1st place – «Disco-Net», Faculty of Information Technologies;
- 2nd place – «Svinki», Faculty of Engineering Technology;
- 3rd place – «Korotkoe zamykanie», Faculty of Machine Building and Road Transport.
On October 21-22, at concert hall of PSU there took place the concert programs contest – the main event of the festival “Debut”.
Results:
- 1st place – Faculty of Information Technologies;
- 2nd place – Faculty of History and Philology;
- 3rd place – Law Faculty;
- 3rd place – Radio Engineering Faculty.
Besides the overall evaluation of the faculty program, the jury noted individual performers in various categories.
On October 22, DJ competition was held:
- 1st place – Ksenia Kozlovskaya, Faculty of Finance and Economics;
- 2nd place – Dmitry Shimansky, Radio Engineering Faculty;
- 3rd place – Yegor Zalevsky, Nikolay Tolokonnikov, Faculty of Machine Building and Road Transport.
On October 23, 2014, for the first time in history of the Festival as a separate contest there was held KVN game.
First place went to History and Philology Faculty team “Children of the 90s”. Congratulations!
- 2nd place – Faculty of Engineering Technology;
- 3rd place – Radio Engineering Faculty;
- 3rd place – Faculty of Machine Building and Road Transport.
On October 24, at the gala concert, the winners were announced and the best numbers of concert programs contest were shown.
On the sum of points for all contests of the Festival the following results received:
- 1st place – Information Technologies Faculty;
- 2nd place – Radio Engineering Faculty;
- 3rd place – History and Philology Faculty.
