On February, 2 there took place the seminar at Polotsk State University ‘Electronic Informational Resources in the Russian Language in Scientific and Research Activity ’. This Seminar was organized by PSU’s Research Library together with the Company ‘Electronic Resources’. The latter’s official representative was the Company’s Marketing Director Dmitry Berezovin.
The lecturers covered many issues that deal with electronic Database. The main electronic resources in the Russian language are: Research Library elibrary.ru (the largest Russian Data portal in the field of science, technology, medicine, education) and Electronic Library of Theses of Russian State Library.
The Company ‘Electronic Resources’ decided to allow PSU’s Research Library the access to the following electronic resources:
1. Electronic library of the publishing house ‘Grebennikov’ (one of the leading Russian publishing houses that specialize on Marketing, Management, and Finance editions).
2. Business on-line library (the books of the leading publishing houses ‘Alpina Business Books’ and ‘Alpina Publishers’). The library offers the books on different topics:

East View Publications Database contains full articles of State and local newspapers of Russia, CIS countries and Baltic States. There is the access to the most authoritative magazines of Russian Academy of Sciences. All the sources correspond to the printed version.
