On December 28, 2018 the most active, creative and outstanding students of Polotsk State University gathered together in the concert hall to take part in a Students’ Active Party. This special event plays a big role for every student.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Yury Golubev expressed his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the students on behalf of the University Rector.
2018 “Golden Picea”, Student Awards Ceremony, took place at the university Students’ Active Party. For the second consecutive year, a student prize is awarded to best of the best students among student self-government of our university in 10 nominations:
Nomination “Best in Mass Media”:
- Anastasia Shlyk – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Finance and Economics, “Nastezh” newspaper editor
- Vladimir Supranyonok – a 4th year student at the Faculty of Finance and Economics, operator and film editor of the student video studio “Konspekt”
- Viktoria Sachivko - a 4th year student at the Faculty of Finance and Economics, head of the student video studio “Konspekt”
Viktoria Sachivko has become a winner of the nomination “Best in Mass Media”.
Nomination “Best among International Students”:
- Ashyr Jemirov (Turkmenistan) – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Law
- Ogultach Dovletova (Turkmenistan) – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Humanities
- Palsmen Yann Bruto Kombo (Congo) – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Mechanics and Technologies
Ashyr Jemirov has become a winner of the nomination “Best among International Students”.
Nomination “Leader of the Student Self-Governance”:
- Dmitry Scherbenok – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, chairman of the student faculty council
- Aigul Annamova – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Humanities, chairman of the student council in the 5th dormitory
- Yaroslav Gorovoy – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Finance and Economics, chairman of the student faculty council

Nomination “Creative Success”:
- Alexander Kozlov – a student at the Faculty of Humanities
- Ivan Krasnov – a student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering
- Daniil Kuzhelev – a student at the Faculty of Mechanics and Technologies

Nomination “Leader of the Youth Union”:
- Alina Avtonenko – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, secretary of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union at the faculty
- Ivan Sachivko – a 4th year student at the Faculty at Civil Engineering, head of the student construction brigade “Evrika” named after the Hero of the Soviet Union Viktor Voronko
- Mikhail Nikolayev – a 4th year student at the Faculty of Mechanics and Technologies, secretary of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union at the faculty

Nomination “Leader of the Student Trade Union Committee”:
- Maksim Isakov – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Radio Engineering, trade union organizer at the faculty
- Anastasia Galay – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, trade union organizer at the faculty
- Marina Gurchyonok – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Finance and Economics, trade union organizer at the faculty
Marina Gurchyonok has become a winner of the award “Leader of the Student Union”.
Nomination “Best Volunteer”:
- Vladislav Derugin – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering
- Kakageldi Kurbanov – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Law
- Daria Kulikova – a 5th year student at the Faculty of Humanities

Nomination “Best in Student Service”:
- Semyon Kolyada – a 5th year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, deputy head of the Student Service
- Natalia Suntsova – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Law, deputy head of the Student Service in Mezhdurechye
- Lyubov Dyatlova – a 4th year student at the Faculty of Humanities, head of the Student Service in Polotsk College
Semyon Kolyada has become a winner of the nomination “Best in Student Service”.
Nomination “Best in Student Order Service”:
- Vladislav Nasuro – a 5th year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, head of the Student Order Service in Novopolotsk university campuses
- Yevgeny Kurilenko – a 4th year student at the Faculty of Information Technologies, head of the Student Order Service in Polotsk College
- Alexander Zarankov – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, a member of the Student Order Service
Vladislav Nasuro has become a winner of the nomination “Best in Student Order Service”.
Nomination “Best Curator”:
- Daria Andreyeva – a 4th year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, head of the student curator service
- Aleksey Semaschenko – a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Mechanics and Technologies, deputy head of the student curator service
- Nikolay Chuprov – a 4th year student at the Faculty of Radio Engineering, senior curator at the faculty
Daria Andreyeva has become a winner of the nomination “Best Curator”.
All the winners were awarded souvenirs and valuable prizes from the Rector of PSU, Youth Union and PSU Trade Union Committee.
Students’ Active Party was full of pleasant surprises for the guests such as a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, celebratory photo zone, musical programmes, interesting contents and festive fireworks.
