On May 11-24, the summer school was held at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Lithuania) according to the international programme TEMPUS „NETCENG“. The staff of Polotsk State University also took part in this meeting together with the university-partners from Belarus, Germany, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine.

The summer school at Vilnius University included lectures and seminars, study visits to university laboratories, enterprises and excursions.

Elena Kremneva, the head of postgraduate courses; Rikhard Bogush, the head of the department o computing systems and networks; Konstantin Rakhanov, an associate professor of the department of Information technologies, as the representatives of our university took an active part in trainings in the following extra modules: “The theory of and practice of research”, “Survival at labour-market”, “The effective communication in groups”.

Training courses in the context of TEMPUS „NETCENG“ project

The training courses were held for the organization and application of postgraduates’ effective communication in groups, at labour market.

During the summer school work, the participants had a possibility to share their experience of work organization at postgraduate and doctorate courses of Belarus, the United Kingdom, Germany, Lithuiania, Russia and Ukraine. They could also discuss some ideas about the improvement of structural unites’ work, the effectiveness of scientific researches management and optimization of international academic mobility in scientific sphere.
