The Day of Belarusian Science is celebrated on January 30. Polotsk State University is proud of the Research carried out by its lecturers and students. In 2010 more than 700 studies were published. More than 200 students’ papers will participate in the annual contest of Young Researchers.
In 2010 there were defended several theses:
DPhil thesis – by Vladimir Lipsky, Head of the Department of Pipeline transport and Hydraulics
Candidates of Science theses:
- Svetlana Izmailovich – Senior teacher at the Department of Finance
- Inga Zenkova – Senior teacher at the Department of Theory of Economics
- Dmitry Scherbik – Senior teacher at the Department of State and Law
- Oksana Skoromnik – Senior teacher at the Department of Higher Mathematics
