On April 9, 2013, in the assembly hall of Polotsk State University there took place a big holiday concert dedicated to Birthday of the oldest University faculty – Civil Engineering one!
Dean of the Faculty Alexander Bakatovich made a congratulatory speech. He said the Faculty was proud of its talented students who were eager to bring their creative ideas to life, and examples of this – a lot.
The best students and lecturers were awarded diplomas and gifts: Anna Ignatovitch, Marina Kirillova, Artem Balysh, Valery Abramov, Kirill Zavatsky, Ekaterina Galay, Viktoria Dubovets.
“The best lecturer of Architecture Department” – senior lecturer Alexander Zelenkov; “The best lecturer of Descriptive Geometry and Graphics Department” – senior lecturer Nina Sorogovets; “The best lecturer of Constructions Department” – lecturer-assistant Alexander Kovalenko; “The best lecturer of Construction Industry Department” – lecturer-assistant Yulia Vishnyakova.
At the Faculty there was held a contest of wall newspapers, timed to the holiday date. Sweet prizes were given to groups:
- 1st place – 11-Арх-2;
- 2nd place – 08-Арх-2;
- 3rd place – 11-ПГС-5.
Then the concert started. Creative collectives “Hard Group” and “Zhemchuzhina” dynamic dances became one of the most memorable performances of the festive program.
Anastasia Golubkova (gr. 11-Арх-1) and Stanislav Haus (gr. 12-Арх-1) presented to public an energetic choreographic composition.
Yaroslav Volkov’s magic saxophone (gr.12-ПГС-2) had acquired a new meaning in conjunction with Information Technology Faculty student Levon Gziryan vocal.
Once again the audience was amazed by beat box from Vladimir and Algerd and their team, who took the first place in the Civil Engineering Faculty “Minute of Glory”. Armine Manukyan performed a soulful song “I was looking for you”. Rock band «A NEW AURORA» was good at chosen musical style.
Final song gathered at the scene all the performers.
