On April 29, the faculty of Engineering Technology, one of the oldest organization departments of Polotsk State University, celebrated its birthday.
The celebration started with the traditional mini-football competition, but the main event of the day was a big concert presented by the students of the faculty of Engineering Technology.
The dean of the faculty of Engineering Technology, Pavel Kovalenko congratulated all the lecturers, staff, postgraduates, students and graduates of the faculty.
The official part of the concert was devoted to the awarding of talented students.
Ekaterina Erakina, a student of the faculty of Finance and Economics, opened the concert with a song «Beauty’s heart».
The audience could see a student wedding that included almost all: kidnapping and searching for the bride, a toastmaster’s activity and funny wedding competitions.
The bright musical performances created a wonderful atmosphere at the assembly hall of PSU. Charming Viktoriya Bogdanova and Kristina Nikiphorova presented a song «Good morning».
An unexpected duet, Ekaterina Erakina and Nikolay Rozum, sang «My rock'n'roll».
Dancing performances were an inevitable part of the concert, too. The audience was amazed by the impressive modern and Latin Amercan dancing performances presented by the students of the faculty.
The decoration of the concert was mimes’ performance which proved that future engineers are good not only at science and modern equipment but also at pantomime.
The concert ended up with a long-waited happy end: bride and bridegroom’s reunion.
All the guests were persuaded that the faculty of Engineering Technology is still young and full of energy. It can be considered one of the best faculties of Polotsk State University. Happy Birthday, the Faculty of Engineering Technology!
