The students of Polotsk State University of „Logistics“ speciality under the guidance of the head of the department of Logistics and Management Alena Malei took part in a specialized educational logistics programme on May, 21-24 in Warsaw (Poland).
The programme consisted of theoretical and practical parts. The first part of the seminar was devoted to the problems of market development of traffic logistics service in Europe and Poland. The lecture was given by Yana Peregud, a doctor of economic science, an associate professor of the transport department of Warsaw School of Economics.
The practical part of the programme included visiting of 2 logistic centers of Raben and Euro Logisctics companies. The students compared the approaches in their work, the solutions which are used in the field of warehousing and information technologies, quality control systems and client services.
The Raben company is the biggest logistic operator in Poland which renders full set of logistic services (warehousing, transportation, distribution, custom clearance, etc). The students had a possibility to have a look at the working process of logistic operator and ask some questions.
Culture and educational services should go hand in hand. In Warsaw the students had a chance not only to improve their knowledge in the sphere of logistics but also have a look at the beautiful European city.
