On February 27 2019, the occupational guidance for international students from the Preparatory Department was organized by the Faculty of Law.
Irina Vegera, the Dean at the Law Faculty, informed the students about the bases of organizing the educational process, curriculum, bachelor’s and master’s studies in the Republic of Belarus. Aleksey Radyuk, the Vice-Dean at the Law Faculty, discussed such issues as the teaching language, the main directions and forms of the international cooperation, a chance for students to participate in a double degree program. He also described the conditions offered to the law students for doing sports and organizing their leisure time.
Further, the international students took a tour around the campus of the Faculty of Law in Mezhdurechye that was conducted in both French and English. Irina Shakhnovskaya, a senior lecturer at the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, and a 3rd - year student Ashyr Jemirov presented the material and technical basis of the Law Faculty, a courtroom and classrooms.
The students of the Law Faculty have an opportunity to participate in the Students’ legal support service when counselling people and in the work of the Street Law Section. Besides, the prospective students were offered to attend classes of a Young Lawyer School held in French and provided by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law.
