On October, 23, 2011, the Tourist Club “Corsair” and the Student Centre of Polotsk State University organized the Festival “Search for Captain Flint’s treasures”. The following 6 teams took part in the festival: “Emakasi”, “Promstroipirat”, “Oprometchivye”, “Kapkan”, “Buki”, “Frigate”.
The distance started in front of “new” building of the University and went to the lake Lukhovo’s shore. The participants ran as quickly as they could and performed different tasks. The culmination of the event came when the teams showed their hand-made pirate costumes. The teams decorated their self-designed costumes with beautiful colorful pirate attributes.
Unfortunately, only three of the participating teams that run the distance quickest were able to take part in the search for Captain Flint’s treasures. The treasures were found by “Kapkan”! The happy winners received their well-deserved prizes, and then all participants had tea and a sweet cake!
