On December, 15, the festive concert dedicated to a very important date for Turkmen people – the Neutrality Day took place at Polotsk State University.
The event started with the welcoming speech of the First Pro-rector of Polotsk State University Svetlana G. Vegera and the head of the Department of Educational work Galina V. Polyakova who congratulated all the participants and guests of the evening with the state holiday and also awarded the winners of the republican festival of foreign students «Fest-Art.by».
This year our foreign students prepared a massive and brilliant programme which was full of talented and bright performances. The student of the faculty of Engineering Technology invited the audience to the historic journey around fabulous Turkmenistan.
The students also prepared a story about their country in Russian and Turkmen and sincerely performed a song in Turkish.
The student of the faculty of Engineering Technology and student video studio «Konspekt» prepared a videofilm dedicated to our heroes’ deeds.
The topic of our heroes’ memory was continued by the student of the faculty of Finance and Economics who performed a lyrical song «Cuckoo».
After several lyrical performances the hosts of the event prepared funny questions for the audience and got very original answers.
The student of the faculty of Civil Engineering Maral Amadova presented a beautiful song «The fairy-tale is over».
The humorous sketch «Learning Russian alphabet» proved that students are very funny and creative people.
Everyone knows that every nation has its own unique traditions that’s why the next turn of the concert was presented in the form of theatrical performance «Caucasus school», and after that the students demonstrated their talent by a national choreographic etude «Fire dance».
The cooperation between Turkmenistan and Belarus has been carrying out for many years. Foreign and Belarusian students study together, live in hostels, communicate and share their achievements, create new projects. One of such an idea was a videoclip with a wonderful song presented by the students of Law faculty – Yuliya Sivitskaya and Leila Mamanova.
At the end of the concert all the participants of the event together with the guests performed a traditional dance lezghinka.
