On December, 11-13 the delegation of Polotsk State University, consisted of the first pro-rector Svetlana G. Vegera, the dean of the Faculty for Foreign Students and the head of the Department of Chemistry and technology of Oil and Gas Processing Irina Buraya, took part in the national exhibition of the Republic of Belarus which took place in Ashgabad (Turkmenistan).
During the exhibition the delegation of PSU took part in a council board of the heads of higher education establishments of the Republic of Belarus and Turkmenistan, held a meeting with the rector of International University of Oil and Gas (Turkmenistan). Both sides discussed the variants of further cooperation between universities.
The meeting with graduates of PSU was one of the pleasant parts of the exhibition events. During the visit the scientific contacts with the representatives of Turkmen establishments and organizations were developed, the consultations with school-leavers and students of higher education establishments of Turkmenistan were carried out, and also with parents and other people who were interested in entering and studying at Polotsk State University.
