On February 19, 2019, Gennady Davydko, Chairman of the Republican Public Association “Belaya Rus” and the administration of the Vitebsk Region and Polotsk Executive Committees visited Polotsk State University. Among the administration representatives were: Vladimir Terentyev, Chairman of the Vitebsk Public Association “Belaya Rus” and of the Vitebsk Oblast House of Representatives, Nikolay Shevchuk, Chairman of the Polotsk Region Executive Committee, Valery Bashmetov, Vice-Chairman of the Vitebsk Public Association “Belaya Rus” and Joseph Gribovich, Chairman of the Polotsk Region House of Representatives.
During the excursion around Polotsk College led by Dmitry Lazovsky, Rector of PSU, the guests saw the sights of the Polotsk College and learnt about its history.
During the meeting with the students and lecturers in the concert hall, Gennady Davydko informed the listeners about the activities of the Republican Public Association “Belaya Rus”, talked about the love for the country, spoke about the homeland and its role in every man’s life. The information about the job placement for the graduates of higher educational establishments was of great use for the students. The speaker paid much attention to the importance of taking measures to reduce the attrition of personnel. Besides, he spoke about the opportunities for successful entrepreneurship in Belarus, small and medium businesses and its legislative framework.
